Dignity at Work

The prevalence of bullying and harassment and it’s negative impact on victims and on the functioning of an organisation is never far from the headlines. In the light of this employers are squarely in the firing line with regard to their duty to protect staff. We offer training for your internal specialists and managers in the skills of awareness, investigation, mediation and conflict resolution to promote diversity and manage bullying and harassment more effectively as well as avoid the cost of expensive litigation:

Programme One – “Diversity & Anti Harassment Awareness for Staff”
This programme aims to reinforce the organisation’s position on harassment in a positive manner by encouraging employees to embrace and value people’s different backgrounds and perspectives. All stands of diversity are covered including race, gender, disbility, sexual orientation, religion or belief and age.

Programme Two – “Managers Guide to dealing with Harassment ”
This programme aims to raise awareness amongst managers to assist them in preventing and dealing effectively with complaints of bullying and harassment.

Programme Three – “Workplace Investigations”
This programme provides a sound introduction to the skills needed to manage complaints of discrimination, harassment or misconduct. The course is aimed at HR staff, line managers and team leaders who have responsibility for conducting investigations into formal complaints of harassment or bullying.

Programme Four – “Harassment Advisors”
Our workshop aims to increase the effectiveness of Harassment Advisers in providing an informal advisory service within the organisation thus minimising the need for a labour intensive formal investigation.

Programme Five – “Meditation and Conflict Resolution Skills”
This training is designed for Managers and HR Professionals who need to develop their skills in handling everyday conflicts so that they do not escalate into more formal complaints. This programme will assist managers to reduce the risk of conflict amongst staff and raise awareness of the skills required to resolve difficult people situations, conflicts and disputes in the workplace.

We offer a workshop which will provide guidance on the latest legal obligations as well as focusing on practical solutions including discipline and grievance, to assist in the day to day management of people.

Attendance Improvement – a pragmatic approach to managing workplace absence
