Employment Law for Line Managers

Managing people is governed by a range of employment legislation, as well as research and guidance telling us how to get the best from a workforce. In this programme we will ensure that your managers are equipped with the necessary knowledge to manage employees effectively and make informed decisions that comply with legal requirements, protecting the organisation's reputation and avoiding potential legal and financial risks.

We will explore the core employment law that affects day to day management of people: discipline and grievance, unfair dismissal, discrimination, the contract of employment and working time.

At the end of the course, the learner will:
