Harassment Advisor Training

Harassment Advisor training is essential in equipping nominated individuals in an organisation with the knowledge and skills needed to provide an informal harassment advisory service. Such a service will help create a safer and more inclusive environment by promoting awareness and understanding as well as the proper handling of issues of harassment and bullying.

At the end of this programme newly appointed Harassment Advisors will:

• Have a greater awareness and understanding of what constitutes bullying and harassment and its effects on the individual and the organisation
• Understand the relevant legislation and its impact on working practice as well as their responsibilities as Harassment Advisors within the organisation’s policies and procedures
• Understand their specific role as a Harassment Advisor when dealing with complaints of bullying and harassment.
